Narconon Fresh Start Changes the Notion of Drug Rehab

The Narconon Fresh Start program is able to accomplish true drug addiction rehabilitation where others fall short. Through utilizing the New Life Detoxification process clients no longer experience physical cravings and compulsions to use drugs. This highly specialized detox process is able to remove the drug residuals built up in the user’s body due to their repeated drug use.

Another special feature about the Narconon Fresh Start rehab program is that it is entirely drug-free. This highly successful program does not use drug substitution to achieve its high success rate. Drug substitution is when a rehab program helps their client off of the drug(s) they are addicted too just to put them on a prescription drug(s). There are programs utilizing drug substitution methods that have their clients coming off one illicit substance just to become addicted to a laundry list of prescription medications: mood stabilizers, sleep meds, anxiety pills, etc. the list goes on from there. This is not freedom from addiction. The person in recovery is still being “controlled” by the prescription drugs their body now has become dependent on.

Once the client has successfully completed drug withdrawal they move on in their Narconon Fresh Start program and begin their Life Skills courses. These informative courses help achieve cognitive behavioral modification and resolve the underlying issue(s) leading to their addiction. While the client is participating in the Narconon Fresh Start program they are not just a client or addict. They are a student learning the necessary tools, skills and information to make their sobriety last once they leave treatment.
