No More Prescription Drugs!

Today, America is falling victim to the false belief that taking a prescription drug is “safe”. Their doctor prescribes it so it must be ok. The problem lies in the fact that doctors and pharmacists are in the business of fixing the patients immediate problem using medication, not addressing the underlying issue that is causing the problem in the first place. When a patient goes to a doctor complaining of depression or anxiety they will likely be put on an antidepressant or psychotropic medication to handle their symptoms. While these drugs have their place, it is not a long-term solution to actually fix the patients real issue.

Rainbow Canyon Retreat understands this fact and purposefully chooses to be a completely drug-free rehab program. We choose to only incorporate nutritional vitamins and mineral supplements into our clients program instead of administering prescription drugs to control their mental and physical state. Through our rehab courses clients learn valuable skills and techniques to handle their environment, emotions and life when they return home. We are able to completely rehabilitate our clients so that they are entirely drug and alcohol free and have fully incorporated our teachings into their daily life.

  1. I, myself fell victim the the prescription drug epidemic. I abused prescription drugs for many years and I thought it was ok because it was being prescribed by a doctor. I used the prescription drugs to hide from my problems and not deal with my everyday problems. I was on anti-depressants for years, and I thought I would be on them for the rest of my life. When I came to the Rainbow Canyon Retreat I had a chance to get off all prescription drugs and illicit drugs alike. I have now been off all drugs for 4 years and do not need prescription drugs for depression and anxiety. I was depressed and anxious because I was not dealing with my problems. Thanks to the Narconon Fresh Start program and the Rainbow Canyon Retreat I was able to get off of all drugs and they gave me the tools to live a happy drug free life.

  2. The drugs that I was addicted to were purely for recreational use, and they did not help with pain or any similar types of ailments. If I was able to become that addicted to the drugs that I was using, I really think that the notion of addictive prescription drugs is a frightening one. If I had a physiological pain that was only relieved when I took prescription drugs, which also happened to be extremely addictive, I would be in grave trouble.
Thanks to this program, I have seen many people that used to be addicted to prescription medication, free from that affliction and living much better lives.
