I learned about how I can help and give back for everything I’ve received from Narconon by helping others who need help getting off drugs, by giving them information about Narconon. I feel like I will really be able to help someone in need of help like I was before I came here.
Learning how important it is to give back to others is part of the life skills courses our students study. Giving back to the community and society as a whole helps the person in recovery develop a sense of duty and responsibility for matters outside of themselves. It helps to hold them accountable and come to realize that they can do a lot of good with their new found sobriety. The act of giving of one’s time, energy and resources to help a greater good is just one of the valuable life lessons our students come away with when they leave treatment.
