When a person enters a Narconon Fresh Start treatment program they are typically focused on all the negative things in their life. Their attention is stuck on their addiction, the way their body has changed because of their substance abuse and all the challenges and problems they have to face when they return home. Clients are looking for things that are wrong with them and the many ways they are “falling apart”.
Narconon Fresh Start has developed a program that is able to help clients process their emotions and come to terms with the many areas of their life they struggle with. Through the course of the program clients begin to learn how to redirect their attention off of themselves and onto their sobriety. The treatment program includes a series of life skills and education on how to communicate effectively, handle difficult situations, identify social and anti-social personalities and provides a moral and ethical code to live by.
