Now I’m really living

I didn’t know what living was until I had completed the Narconon Fresh Start program at Lone Star Victory Ranch. Sure, I’d had 25 years on this earth but I hadn’t really enjoyed or appreciated it. I had spent most of it in a cloud of smoke or high on something; anything to escape from my day to day life. Now, with nearly 6 months of sobriety after graduating I feel like I’m finally living my life. I’m clear headed and using the tech to better my position in life. I’ve got a great job and I’m able to apply myself each day instead of just trying to get by. My paychecks are going to more than just drugs and alcohol and I’m saving for a place of my own. While I don’t have it all figured out, I’ve got a plan for the next few months and an idea of the goals I want to accomplish in the coming year. I’m grateful for the opportunity to prove to my parents and those who love me that I’m gonna make it. Each day is a gift and I no longer take it for granted. Happy New Year! May 2014 bring you and those you love much happiness and personal success = )
